Welcome! I’m so happy you’re here! My name is Cathryn and I’m a wife, mother, teacher, writer, and runner. I dream of one day running the Boston Marathon, becoming a children’s book author, visiting Alaska, and owning my own farm.

As a child I dreamed of becoming a writer. Reading was one of my favorite things and I’ve been writing poems, essays, stories, and so on for years. I love writing, especially for children. I believe there is magic in stories and I want to chase that magic. You can read some of my writing here,  or check out some tips on the writing process!
