I have been waiting for so long for this moment. I’ve dreamed about it for nearly two decades and even during the years of writing without any visible publishing progress, I couldn’t stop thinking about holding a completed and published novel in my hand. And today is finally the day I get to share my beautiful book cover!
I have to confess, this was also a moment I was very nervous about. After spending years working on something, it’s difficult to place your book baby into the hands of another creator and trust that their vision will align with yours. I’ve seen some breathtaking book covers that I absolutely love, but I’ve also seen on-trend covers that are not to my particular taste, especially for contemporary romance.
So. I was nervous.
I was at school when I got the email. My hands were shaking and my heart was pounding as I click on the image, hoping for the best, but bracing myself.
